A “boxer’s fracture” is a break in the fourth or fifth metacarpal bone caused by the blunt force to the hand that results when a punch is improperly delivered (or even when properly delivered to a sufficiently hard object).

So when you have bones like reinforced steel, something being durable enough to break your hand should probably be considered “very concerning.”
